Ipsen Pharma – Identification of real needs

Ipsen Pharma, is and international pharma company of the group Ipsen based in Barcelona, that brings specialized medical solutions to some illnesses with the objective of improving people’s quality of life through investigation and development.

In collaboration with Mutua de Terrassa, we have participated in a pioneering project in Spain within the medical field. Thanks to several methodologies of digital active observation we were able to understand the world and the life of people victim of an ictus and subsequent psychomotor limitations. The research, far from clinical tests, was focused on understanding the “real life” of these patients beyond hospitals, consulting rooms and rehabilitation centers. The main objective was to know their daily needs and issues in order to fulfill them with new services that were out of the ones offered by Ipsen and Mutua de Terrassa. With the help of the technology and this new perspective, allowed us to develop new solutions to patients, carers and doctors, encouraging the co-creation between them and offering potential improvements for the quality of life of many people.
