NISSAN and the Z Generation

Nissan, leader in zero emissions mobility, has sold more than 260K units of its Nissan LEAF globally, becoming the most popular and successful electric car in the world. In Mexico, since its launch in 2014, more than 300 units have been sold -including private and fleet cars- turning into the electric car with zero percentage of emissions with the highest selling rate in our country,

The japanese company is interested in the new generations and so Salvetti Llombart launched an in-depth study about the Z Generation (demographic group born between 1994 and 2010 that represents 25.9% of the global population and by 2025, 75% of the world’s workforce) to understand their point of view regarding sustainability, electric mobility and the role of intelligent cities in the future. “Z” generation considers that to achieve a 100% electric mobility a global evolution is needed: a new way of driving, a new way of communicating and a symbiosis between cities and environment, as it is shown by the recent increasing of collaborative economy through formulas like car-sharing. The project is an interesting source of insights about the future of our cities, the way mobility will be addressed in the future and the way of thinking of the youngest generations.
